My new night kicks off on Thursday 6th October and will run every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month.

It is part of Lennon's new flagship Thursday night called The Lennon's Thursday Shuffle with Helter Skelter taking place on 2nd Thursday and Sounds of the 60's on the last Thursday of the month.

The theme is definitely classic youth culture inspired.

Why This Is England? well i always loved the title of the Clash song and the film of the same name but it's mainly in keeping with a photo album i started on Facebook last year which became an instant hit.

Featuring photos from my own collection as well as friends ones from the 70's 80's & 90's. Documenting my time through the great youth cults and musical scenes of Glam Rock, Hard Rock, Suedehead, Punk Rock, Mod Revival & 2 Tone. Then onto New Romantic, Gothic Rock, C86 Indie. Fast forward to Madchester, Baggy, Rave, Acid House and Britpop right up to the modern day.

Youth Culture and music have always had a close relationship and i want to celebrate this. I hope to offer students and locals a night that's both friendly and a little bit different than what's on offer elsewhere.

18 + ID may be required.
